Final EPL Table After Today's Games, as Chelsea and Man United Dropped Points, While Liverpool Won


Seven different games were played in the English Premier League (EPL) today being Saturday, as teams play their gameweek 31 fixtures.

Out of these seven games, only the ones involving Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man United will be reviewed here.

On the first game of the day, Liverpool played against Watford at Anfield. Liverpool won the game with a 2-0 scoreline, all thanks to a goal from Diogo Jota in the first half, and a penalty goal by Fabinho during the closing minutes of the second half.

The second game was between Chelsea and Brentford at the Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea lost the game, as they were trashed 4-1 by Brentford. It was Antonio Rudiger who first opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 48th minute, before Brentford equalised in the 50th minute. Christian Eriksen then scored in the 54th minute to give Brentford the lead. Two further goals in the 60th minute and 87th minute helped secure a 4-1 victory for Brentford.

The last game of the day involved Man United and Leicester at Old Trafford. This game ended in a 1-1 draw. Kelechi Iheanacho first scored for Leicester in the 63rd minute, while Fred equalised for Man United in the 66th minute.

After today's games, this is how the EPL table look.

Liverpool won their game to retain their second position on the table, while both Chelsea and Man United dropped crucial points in the top 4 race.
